The support unit is designed to compensate for axial and radial forces arising during the operation of a screw single-flow PCR pump, and to transfer torque from an electric motor through hydraulic protection to the pump. The support unit is installed between the PCR pump and the hydraulic protection of the submersible electric motor. The torque from the hydraulic protection of the electric motor is transmitted to the shaft of the hydraulic compensator and the shaft of the axial discharge device, then through the flexible shaft to the rotor of the screw pump.

The support node consists of:

• axial unloading device;
• hydraulic compensator;
• receiving module.

Axial unloading device:

The axial unloading device is a housing with a shaft installed inside. The shaft is centered by two radial roller bearings equipped with preload devices. Five thrust roller bearings are used to perceive the axial load. To perceive the axial load during the reverse rotation of the pump, one thrust roller bearing is installed. The inner cavity of the axial discharge device is filled with oil.

Hydraulic compensator:

The hydraulic compensator is a housing with a shaft passing inside and a sleeve with a rubber diaphragm. Safety valves are installed in the sleeve.

Receiving module:

The receiving module consists of a housing with holes or grooves for the intake of reservoir fluid, a flexible shaft and coupling couplings.
